Today, our topic of discussion will be the rise of Cryptocurrency and the policies that have been made to stop the growth of digital currency. So let us wait no more and begin discussing our topic.

After severe steps taken by Facebook and Google, Twitter has also decided to ban advertisements related to Cryptocurrency and initial coin offerings (ICO).

The ban is expected to be put on all ads promoting or relating to Cryptocurrency wallets, initial coin offerings, and token sales. According to authentic sources, Twitter is also planning to implement the new policy in coming weeks. We have also managed to find out that Twitter is planning to stop all promotion of Cryptocurrency exchanges. However, according to sources, there is a possibility that a few exemptions can be made depending upon the scenario.

These severe measures are a result of rising digital currency frauds and scams these days on numerous social media platforms. The most recent example of a fraud is the fraud that happened via Twitter last month. Actually the incident was that, a fraud group earned thousands of dollars by fooling twitter users with the help of fake bitcoins.

As there is a ban on ads regarding Cryptocurrency on other major social media platforms such as Facebook and Google, Twitter was the last option for fraudsters to fool people. But, with this new policy of Twitter, people are safe from investing in these fake money schemes and losing a big deal of money in it.

These days the craze of Cryptocurrency is increasing rapidly. People have gone mad in buying these currencies to earn healthy profits in the future. With such high demand, we are also seeing an increase in fraudsters getting ready to fool people. These fraudsters fool people by selling a Cryptocurrency to them and then after some time they vanish away leaving behind a digital currency that has no value at all.

Due to such increased frauds, people are still waiting for governments and authorities to make specific policies to stop such frauds as the Cryptocurrency market is raising at a rapid rate. But, tech giants and major social media platforms such as Facebook, Google, Instagram, and now Twitter is also trying to stop such frauds by making policies against the digital currencies.

I agree that in the beginning people did earn great profits through Cryptocurrency such as bitcoins but now it is time to get realistic and protect ourselves from such frauds.
