Huawei says Apple went with our idea of iPhone X’s notch

Huawei and Apple are two of the biggest smartphone companies in the current era. Both of them are established companies that are trying to increase their market share and brand image.

In a recent statement, Huawei has claimed that they had the idea about notches long before the launch of iPhone X. According to a top official from Huawei, Huawei has always been focusing on improving the experience regarding notches. Huawei P20 series, the latest flagship phone from Huawei features a notch too.

According to reports, Huawei was thinking about introducing the notch long ago to make the display better. However, after close discussion, they dropped the idea.  Huawei’s top officials have said that they could have introduced the notch 3 to 4 years ago. However, they decided to stick with the traditional features.

Huawei is a company that does not regret its past and tries to move forward. Huawei officials have said that the company will not make any similar mistakes in the future and will look to grow. Huawei did the same thing when it came to the twilight color of Huawei P20 Pro. Everyone was against the idea. However, Huawei went forward with the idea and got the much-needed results. The idea of adding a triple camera on the Huawei P20 Pro also received negative reviews. However, Huawei decided to go through with the idea and aims to achieve success in the future.

Although the notch was Huawei’s idea, it still praises Apple to execute the idea. So, we will be seeing more innovations from Huawei in the coming future.
