Verizon Adds Parental Control App to Track Kids

According to reports from authentic sources, Verizon has upgraded its parental control app. The app was previously called FamilyBase and now it is being upgraded. With the upgrade, parents will have the option to track their children. The new update is going to feature some amazing features and the following list includes a few of them.

  • Will allow parents to check the battery status of their child’s phone
  • Will help set content filters
  • Manage screen time
  • Will allow to pause the internet access
  • Allow to collect the summary of calls and messages

Through this app parents can have a good look at their child’s activity. The app can be used by a maximum of 10 family members. The most prominent feature of this app is the content filters. Through this, parents will have the possibility to block sites with adult stuff such as drugs, alcohol, and gambling. Parents can even block certain apps for their children. Parents will also have the option to view their child’s messages and call history.

The normal cost of this app will be $5 per month through which parents can avail almost all the features. Parents who also want to know their child’s location will have to pay $10 per month as subscription charges. Through the location feature, parents will get to know about their child’s location. Moreover, they will also receive a text when their son or daughter will leave a certain area.
