OLX Announces $89 Million Investment in CarFirst


OLX is the biggest online buying and selling platform in Pakistan. It is quite popular and well known around Pakistan for its free and easy to use services. Now, OLX has decided to invest $89 million in an online car marketplace, Frontier Car Group. This company is operated from Berlin and currently operates in 6 countries only.

OLX held a press conference in which officials announced the investment in CarFirst. CarFirst will be the first online used car selling platform in Pakistan which will aim to provide complete services to automobile buyers and sellers in Pakistan. This merger is going to be a big thing in the Pakistani automobile industry. It will be a single destination for numerous people associated to the Pakistani automobile industry.

Car sellers will find it quite easy to sell their cars now. They can simply use OLX’s classifieds platform or CarFirst’s purchase centers to sell their cars. This will revolutionize the online car selling industry bringing closer millions of potential buyers and sellers. OLX officials held a detailed press conference too in order to provide details regarding its future plans. OLX CEO told media that this development will be a solution to a variety of issues faced by people. He further added that the joint venture will be working on a variety of things including, evaluation, certification, financing, auction, and insurance.
