Oppo Completes First 5G tests with Snapdragon X50 modem :

The Updated version of the OPPO R15 was installed with Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G Modem, which can provide up to 5Gbps. Trial 3GPP release the 15 SS standard was done with 10MHz bandwidth 4G LED band 5 and 20 MW bandwidth 5G NR bands. The OPO said that the test result will be levered in 2019 to start a commercial 5G smartphone. OPPO is the first android phone manufacturer which will be shown on the 5G signal and data connection on phones.

Next year, Oppo will be able to plan to start a 5G smartphone in upcoming next year, assistant VP Shen Yiren some days ago.
