Pakistan Railways is launching a new smartphone app for e-ticketing

To make it more convenient for its users and customers, Pakistan Railways has been working on a new smartphone app. This app would allow users to buy tickets online. Moreover, you can also track your train timings and schedules. The government of Pakistan runs the railway station, and in Naya Pakistan, they hope to smooth things and industries out giving users a better experience. The revenue of the app, as well as railway system, goes to the government growing Pakistan’s economy.

According to sources, the app will feature trackers and GPS to provide accurate speed and location of its trains. It would also give the exact location making it easier for people at home to track where their relatives are at any given time. The trackers are tested on a few trains to record the performance and make any last minute amendments. The results have proved successful every time according to sources.  The app is working nearly 100 percent of the time and is set for huge success.

These trackers will now be installed on all trains to allow users to get an accurate location along with speed. It will also inform users about timing and other information regarding train schedules. You will also be easily available to buy tickets without having to wait in lines for hours. E-ticketing is not a really new concept in Pakistan, but it sure is getting an efficient update.The current app for purchasing tickets does not function really well, making it hard for users to confirm their tickets, but the new updated version will tackle that issue. The app will soon be available to all users and will be managed by Pakistan Railways, with all the revenue from the app going solely to the government authority.
